Special Events

Early morning, TBA	Golf at the Wildfire Golf Club at the JW Marriott Resort Desert Ridge Location: Wildfire Golf Club Pro Shop Wildfire Golf Club, located in the scenic Sonoran Desert, features two 18-hole courses designed by Arnold Palmer and Nick Faldo. Surrounded by the majestic McDowell Mountains and century-old saguaro cacti, these courses provide a spectacular setting for a memorable golf experience. Interested golfers will be contacted for exact tee times. Pre-registration required.
6:30 - 8:00 p.m.	SRIC/ARIC Dinner Dinner on own SRICs and ARICs are encouraged to go to dinner together and share trends, ideas, and best practices for recruitment information in their region. Attendees pay for dinner on their own.
9:00 p.m.	Men’s Gathering Location: Roy’s at the JW Marriott After dinner, gentlemen will gather at Roy’s while the ladies attend the Dance Party.

Activities and Workshop

8:15- 9:45 a.m.	Model Initiation Chi Omegas Only Location: Grand Canyon 6-8 Chi Omegas are invited to attend the model initiation of Ellie Stern, Mu Chapter/U of California, Berkeley. Ellie is the 2012 Supreme Governing Council Model Initiate and is a legacy as her mother is an initiate of Mu Chapter/U of California - Berkeley and her grandmother is an initiate of Mu Alpha Chapter/U of New Hampshire.
10:15- 11:45 a.m.	Breakout Sessions Check your program insert for your workshop assignment!
12:15- 3:15 p.m.	Awards Luncheon Location: Grand Saguaro Celebrate the accomplishments of our outstanding collegiate chapters, alumnae chapters, and individual members during this festive luncheon.
2:15- 3:30 p.m.	Recruitment Information 101 SRICs/ARICs Location: Desert Conference I
4:00- 6:00 p.m.	Breakout Sessions Check your program insert for your workshop assignment!
7:00- 9:00 p.m.	Dinner and Revelry Location: Grand Saguaro Come join your Sisters for a casual southwest BBQ buffet followed by an evening of skits, songs, cheers, and lots of laughter during Chi Omega Revelry. You will not want to miss this night of fun and laughter which has been a Convention tradition for over 100 years! Attire: Casual! Collegians: Wear your 2011-2012 Bid Day tee! Alumnae: Wear a Chi Omega tee!
9:00- 10:00 p.m.	Dance Party Location: Grand Sonoran G Join your Sisters for a dance party after Revelry - a huge hit in 2010! You might even be able to catch a glimpse of the Governing Council doing the electric slide!
